- By mail (postmarked by) : Oct 7
Absentee ballot deadlines
- Request ballot (received by) : Oct 29 close of business
- Return ballot by mail (postmarked by) : Nov 4
- Return ballot in person : Nov 5 by 7:30 p.m. EST
Voting deadlines
- Early voting : Oct 8 – Nov 3
- In-person : Nov 5
There are several types of valid photo identification
- Ohio driver’s license;
- State of Ohio ID card;
- Interim ID form issued by the Ohio BMV;
- A US passport;
- A US passport card;
- US military ID card;
- Ohio National Guard ID card; or
- US Department of Veterans Affairs ID card
