Privacy Policy

1. Definitions Privacy Policy: Latest version of the BACO Privacy Policy GDPR: The General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679.

2. Purpose, Scope, and Other Definitions This Policy is meant for use by visitors of BACO. BACO represents a community portal that aims to provide its Visitors with straightforward, honest reporting on various subjects concerned with Ohio. This policy aims to provide Visitors with information on what type of information BACO collects, how it is used, and the circumstances in which it could be shared with third parties. Throughout this privacy statement, Visitor’s data may be called either “personal data” or “personal information”. We may also sometimes collectively refer to handling, collecting, protecting, and storing Visitor’s personal data or any such action as “processing” of such personal data.

3. Collection of Personal Data We shall collect information necessary for the provision and improvement of services. As a Visitor, you have the right to request how we collect private information by contacting our support at Bacomail@googlegroups.com.

4. Subscribe to Newsletter Visitors will have the option to subscribe to the regular newsletter provided by BACO by providing their email addresses when following the subscribe option. For this purpose, the Visitor consents to receipt of such email by providing their email address directly to us via the option available on the website of the News portal.

5. Purposes of Safeguarding Legitimate Interests We process personal data to safeguard legitimate interests pursued by BACO or by a third party. A legitimate interest is when we have a business, commercial, or legal reason to use the Visitor’s information. Even then, it must not unfairly go against what is right and best for the Visitor. Examples of such processing activities include: Initiating legal proceedings and preparing our defense in litigation procedures Measures and processes we undertake to provide IT and system security, preventing potential crime, asset security, admittance controls, and anti-trespassing measures Measures to manage business and further develop our products and services.

Marketing Purposes We may use Visitor data, such as location or transaction history, to deliver news, analysis, research, reports, campaigns, or training opportunities that may interest the Visitor, to their registered email address if it has been provided to us. Visitors always have the right to change this option if they no longer wish to receive such information and may unsubscribe at any time.

7. Controlling and Processing Visitor’s Personal Data BACO and any agents that it engages for the purpose of collecting, storing, or processing personal data and any third parties acting on our behalf may collect, process, and store personal data provided by the Visitor. For the purpose of processing and storage of personal data provided by the Visitor, we confirm that this will be done in accordance with all applicable laws.

8. Authorized Processor We may also use authorized external processors for Visitor data processing based on concluded service agreements, which are governed by instructions from us for the protection of Visitor-related data. The agreements are important so that both parties understand their responsibilities and liabilities. Such providers will provide various services as agreed upon with us. When we are required or permitted to disclose information without consent, we will not disclose more information than necessary to fulfill the disclosure purpose.

9. How We Treat Visitor’s Personal Data for Marketing Activities We may process Visitor’s personal data to inform Visitors about products, services, or offers that may be of interest to them. We study all such information to form a view of what is needed or what may be of interest to the Visitors. In some cases, profiling may be used. 10. Period of Keeping Visitor’s Personal Information We will keep Visitor’s personal data for a specified period to meet legal requirements. In some cases, this period may be extended. When we no longer need to keep Visitor’s personal data, we will securely delete or destroy it.

11. Visitor’s Right to Erasure The right to erasure does not provide an absolute ‘right to be forgotten’. Individuals have a right to have personal data erased and to prevent processing in specific circumstances, including the situations mentioned here: Where the personal data is no longer necessary in relation to the purpose for which it was originally collected/processed; When the individual withdraws consent; When the individual objects to the processing and there is no overriding legitimate interest to continue the processing; When the personal data was unlawfully processed (i.e. otherwise in breach of the GDPR); When the personal data has to be erased in order to comply with a legal obligation; When the personal data is processed in connection with the offer of information society services to a child. There are some specific circumstances where the right to erasure does not apply, and we can refuse to execute the request.

12. When Can We Refuse to Comply with a Request for Erasure? We can refuse to comply with a request for erasure under specific circumstances, including the situations mentioned here: To comply with a legal obligation for the performance of a public interest task or exercise of official authority; The exercise or defence of legal claims.

13. Geographical Area of Processing As a general rule, Visitor data is processed where crypto is legal, but in some cases, it is transferred to and processed in countries outside this area. The transfer and processing of Visitor data outside the specified area can take place, provided there are appropriate safeguards in place and the actions are made based on a legal basis only. Upon request, the Visitor may receive further details on Visitor data transfers.

14. Changes to This Privacy Statement We reserve the right to modify or amend this Privacy Statement unilaterally, without notice and at any time in accordance with this provision. If any changes are made to this privacy statement, we shall publish an updated Privacy Policy on the News portal. The revision date shown at the end of this page will also be amended. We do, however, encourage Visitors to review this privacy policy occasionally to stay informed about how we process and protect your personal information.

15. Cookies Our website uses small files known as cookies to enhance its functionality and improve overall Visitor’s experience.
